Vischeck is a way of showing you what things look like to someone who is color blind. You can try Vischeck online- either run Vischeck on your own image files or run Vischeck on a web page. You can also download programs to let you run it on your own computer.
Amazing. This will give web developers/designers the ability to help colorblind users compensate for their vision on the web. It is horribly frustrating when you are visiting a webpage and cannot distinguish links from other text or even read the content because the designer decided contrast was not all that important. The Photoshop plugins will also give colorblind designers a chance to not totally fail or be limited in their color pallet options. I will implement Vischeck on every website I create once it’s release. It’s time we start considering how the web is experienced by everyone.
My name is Cayce and I am a colorblind web designer.
